Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using alihusain.me (“the site”) and any tools or applications made available through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site is a personal portal hosting a small set of Python applications. Some apps are publicly accessible (“Free apps”); others require authentication (“Private apps”). The site and its contents are provided as-is for informational and utility purposes.

Accounts and access

• Access to private apps is by invitation. You may only sign in with credentials issued to you by the operator.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
• Access may be suspended or revoked at any time, with or without notice, including for misuse, security concerns, or violation of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site to store, transmit, or process content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, scrape protected content, probe for vulnerabilities, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the site.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any private app, except to the extent permitted by law.
• Use the site or any app to make decisions in regulated domains (medical, legal, financial advice for third parties, etc.) without independent professional review.

No warranties

The site and the apps are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The operator does not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Calculations and outputs

The apps may produce calculations, estimates, forecasts, or recommendations based on inputs you provide. Outputs are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You are solely responsible for verifying any result before acting on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The operator’s total liability related to the site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).

Intellectual property

All content, code, and design on the site, other than user-supplied input, is the property of the operator or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the site for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

Third-party services

Private apps may be embedded from third-party platforms (for example, Streamlit). Use of those embedded apps is also subject to the third-party’s own terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
